PGL reveal details of Cluj-Napoca 2026 and announce two more tournaments for 2027

PGL have announced new details about its Counter-Strike 2 tournaments scheduled for 2026 and 2027. The statement was published on PGL's official website.

In 2026, the tournament operator intends to hold another event in Cluj-Napoca – it will take place from February 9 to 23 at the BT Arena. The competition will feature 16 squads – all of them will be invited based on Valve's ranking. The prize pool for the event will remain the same – $1.25 million.

PGL has also planned two more competitions for 2027 (in addition to the January one): one will play out from February 8 to 22, while the other – from March 16 to 29. Note that the February tournament is scheduled for the same dates as the event from FISSURE.

Moreover, the company added a new rule to its regulations, according to which "a team will be denied an invitation if they accepted the invite for, but failed to attend, the previous PGL event for which they were eligible".

Notably, in a few days, PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 will kick off in Romania – the tournament will be held from February 14 to 23. The group stage will play out in the PGL studio in Bucharest, while the playoffs will be held at the BT Arena in Cluj-Napoca. The event will feature a total prize pool of $1.25 million.
