Team Spirit and FURIA win openers at BLAST Open Porto 2026

Opening round of Group A at BLAST Open Porto 2026 has concluded, bringing four teams one step closer to reaching the final stage of the event.

In the first round of the bracket, G2 defeated Aurora (13:5 on Inferno, 16:12 on Anubis), Team Spirit bested DENDELE (13:8 on Ancient, 13:7 on Cache), M80 got the better of NAVI (4:13 on Anubis, 13:6 on Mirage, 13:6 on Inferno), while FURIA prevailed over paiN (13:2 on Mirage, 13:6 on Cache). The losing teams dropped to the lower bracket of Group A, while the winners advanced to the winners' round.

Notably, three squads from each group will advance to the BLAST Open Porto 2026 playoffs: the winners will go directly to the semi-finals, while the teams that place second and third will advance to the quarter-finals. Detailed information about the competition can be found via the link.
