MAD Lions are not keeping keen

Latvian player Kristers "keen" Dārznieks has been released from the MAD lineup, which was introduced half a month ago. It was announced on the official website of the Spanish organization.

We knew that a leadership role would be challenging one to fill for such a young man/player. It was a great opportunity for him to tryout leading a squad against some of the top teams from the world and we are happy he took the chance and gave everything he had.

Unfortunately, leadership skills at the level we need are difficult to develop in such a short time frame so we are looking for another IGL.
We strongly believe that keen has a lot to offer, but we need a different profile for the time being.

According to the published announcement, keen was on a trial with the team. The 20-year-old eSports athlete has played four official matches in the role of in-game leader with an average rating of 0.84.

Despite the fact that the current MAD Lions roster consists of five players, the club intends to find an experienced captain who will be able, along with coach Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński, to develop the inexperienced roster in the right direction.

The next tournament involving the MAD Lions will be Spring Sweet Spring #1, which is scheduled to start on April 12. The team will play in the same group with Case, eXploit and OFFSET.
