HEROIC completes CS2 roster
20-year-old Swedish esports athlete Linus "nilo" Bergman has returned to the active Counter-Strike 2 roster of HEROIC. The organization officially announced this via its X social media account.
Bergman has been on HEROIC's bench for the past six months: the Norwegian club bought nilo from Metizport in January of this year, but due to "personal circumstances" the player did not make it to the starting five.
The Swede filled one of the spots in the squad left open by the departure of Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia and Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç. The former moved to G2, while the latter was benched by the club. HEROIC also recently signed Gleb "gr1ks" Gazin and coach Tobias "TOBIZ" Theo.
Note that HEROIC placed 17th-19th at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 in the USA. The team currently occupies 13th place in Valve's world ranking.
HEROIC are now:
Andrey "tN1R" Tatarinovich
Linus "LNZ" Holtäng
Simon "yxngstxr" Boije
Gleb "gr1ks" Gazin
Linus "nilo" Bergman
Tobias "TOBIZ" Theo (coach)
