Boca Juniors itend to join eSports with CS:GO line-up

Argentine football club Boca Juniors announced their plans to open an eSports unit, which will include the composition of CS:GO. The team intends to compete with South American teams in regional championships.

According to the official announcement, the first Boca players on the professional stage of Valve's shooter will be presented in the near future. Argentinean journalist Lucas Benaim found out that the contracts were signed with Eduardo "laser" Cheskin and Fakundo "Pereira", and the coach of the new team will be Elias "s1cop" Cisternas.

Previously, the CS:GO roster was acquired by River Plate, the principal rival of Boca Juniors in Argentinean football. The latest achievements of the team, which was formed from little-known local players, were victories at Logitech G Challenge 2020, Copa Compumundo Gaming and Musimundo Gaming League 2020.

"Boca Juniors" was founded in 1905 and is one of the most titled football clubs in the world - on his account 22 victories in international competitions. The team from Buenos Aires became the champion of Argentina 28 times, which is the second index after "River Plate" (35 titles).
