FUT benches lauNX

Esports organization FUT has officially announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: the club has benched Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea.

The 21-year-old Romanian esports athlete has been with the team since August of last year, during which time he has recorded an average rating of 1.10. FUT has not yet announced the player who will replace lauNX on the squad.

FUT currently sits 11th in Valve's official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. The squad finished the third stage of IEM Cologne Major 2026 with a 2-3 match record and failed to qualify for the playoffs.
