IEM Rio 2024 EVPs and best five announced

HLTV.org has revealed a list of esports athletes which were awarded the title of Exceptionally Valuable Players (EVP) following the results of the recent IEM Rio 2024 tournament in Brazil.

The EVP title was secured by players which showed outstanding results at the event, but were not crowned MVPs. They are representatives of Vitality, HEROIC, FURIA, and NAVI. The list included a total of seven esports athletes:

  •  Justinas "jL" Lekavicius (NAVI);
  •  Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut (Vitality);
  •  Valeriy "b1t" Vakhovskiy (NAVI);
  •  Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo (MOUZ);
  •  Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato (FURIA);
  •  Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov (NAVI);
  •  Guy "NertZ" Iluz (HEROIC).

Moreover, HLTV authors unveiled an all-star roster of the best players of IEM Rio 2024 in each role – it features four representatives of NAVI and one player from Vitality.

IEM Rio 2024 was held from October 7 to 13 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the participation of 16 squads. The total prize pool of the event amounted to $250,000. In the final, NAVI bested MOUZ with a scoreline of 3:1. Mihai "iM" Ivan was named the most valuable player of the tournament.
