NAVI win IEM Rio 2024

Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen's team win the big LAN tournament IEM Rio 2024, which took place from October 7 to 13 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

In the final, NAVI bested MOUZ with a scoreline of 3:1 – 13:11 on Inferno, 13:2 on Dust2, 6:13 on Mirage, 13:11 on Ancient.

En route to the final, the squad knocked out two more opponents from the tournament – HEROIC and Virtus.pro. Before advancing to the playoffs, NAVI placed second in the group.

For first place, NAVI received $100,000 and a ticket to IEM Katowice 2025. The runner-up earned $42,000. FURIA and HEROIC secured another $20,000 each, sharing 3rd-4th place. The total prize pool of the event amounted to $250,000.
