NIP to compete with stand-in at Elisa Masters Espoo 2024

European team NIP will not compete with a full lineup at the upcoming Elisa Masters Espoo 2024 tournament, which kicks off in a couple of days in Finland.

One of the team members, Max "maxster" Jansson, will miss the competition due to health issues. The club announced this via its X social media account. NIP youth roster player Jacob "jocab" Nerheden will stand in for the team at the event.

Note that a month ago, NIP announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: the club replaced two team members – the IGL and the coach.

Elisa Masters Espoo 2024 will be held from October 16 to 20, 2024 in Espoo, Finland. The total prize pool of the event will amount to $200,000 and will be divided among eight squads. The organizers recently revealed the seeding of the teams in the group stage.
