NIP replaces IGL and assistant coach

Swedish esports club NIP revealed changes to its Counter-Strike 2 tream. The announcement was released on the organization's official website.

Two members of the roster were benched at once: in-game leader Alejandro "alex" Masanet and assistant coach Fredrik "slap" Junbrant. The former has been competing for the club since November of 2023, while the latter joined the team in May of this year.

Gareth "MisteM" Ries has taken over as the new IGL of NIP. The vacant role of an assistant coach in the roster was filled by Daniel "sprayxd" Kogan. Both esports athletes have represented the club's youth squad since January of this year.

NIP competed at ESL Pro League Season 20, which is currently taking place in Malta. The team won their opener in the group stage, after which they lost three matches in a row and got eliminated from the competition, taking 21st-28th place. This November, NIP will be participating in the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 RMR.
