poiii breaks donk's regulation kill record in CS2
17-year-old Swedish esports athlete Alex "poiii" Nyholm Sundgren, who represents EYEBALLERS, has set a new record in Counter-Strike 2 for the most kills in a single game.
Sandgren scored 39 kills on Anubis in a match against Zero Tenacity at the online tournament CCT Season 2 Europe Series 11. EYEBALLERS eventually finished the map in their favor (13:11), but lost the series with a scoreline of 1:2 and left the competition.
The previous record was recently set by Team Spirit's Danil "donk" Kryshkovets – in a match against Wildcard in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 20, the Russian bagged 38 kills.
