donk sets new kill record in CS2

Team Spirit's Danil "donk" Kryshkovets has set a new world record in Counter-Strike 2 for the number of kills on one map (without overtime).

The Russian esports athlete made 38 kills on Ancient against Wildcard in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 20. Team Spirit eventually finished this series with a scoreline of 2:0 in their favor and advanced to the next round of the tournament bracket.

The previous record was held by Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves from Fluxo – he recorded 37 kills in a match against paiN at one of the online events. The top 10 looks as follows:

Note that Kryshkovets was recently crowned the most valuable player of the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2 competition in Serbia according to HLTV.org. This is already the fifth MVP title for donk in his career.
