AMKAL unveils new AWPer
Russian esports club AMKAL has revealed a new sniper for its Counter-Strike 2 team – Evgeniy "topo-" Ivanov. The organization announced this via its Telegram channel.
Little is known about the new member of AMKAL – the player does not have a separate profile on HLTV. "This is a young talent with 3644 ELO on FACEIT, hungry for victories and with a desire to make a name for himself," the official announcement from the club states.
The roster's coach Svyatoslav "svyat" Dovbakh spoke about his new protégé:
I am sure that with him we will be able to become stronger and reach a new level.
Yes, maybe Evgeniy lacks experience in team play now, but the most important thing is that he shows himself to be a hard-working player, and this is one of the most important qualities for a future professional.
We have some time in reserve for Evgeniy to understand our game and get acquainted with the necessary developments, and very soon, I am sure, he will be able to surprise us all.
Ivanov replaced Kaisar "ICY" Faiznurov, who recently moved to Cloud9.
Note that at the recent Skyesports Masters 2024 tournament in Mumbai, the squad competed with a stand-in – Vladimir "shady" Karelin from Virtus.pro's youth roster. AMKAL ultimately secured 5th-6th place at the event.
AMKAL are now:
Igor "Forester" Bezotecheskiy
Aleksandr "TRAVIS" Timkiv
Vladislav "Krad" Kravchenko
Daniil "Sdaim" Tupov
Evgeniy "topo-" Ivanov
Svyatoslav "svyat" Dovbakh (coach)
