Krimbo named most improved player at tier 1 scene in 2023

Dust2.us named BIG's Karim "Krimbo" Moussa the most improved player in 2023. The statistics are based on the tier 1 players who played at least 50 LAN maps prior to 2023, as well as at least 20 LAN maps in 2023, both against top 20 opposition.

Compared to last year, Krimbo's rating increased by 15%, from 0.94 to 1.08. It was reported that the cutoff date for data collection was the final day of Gamers8 2023, held in August.

Monte's Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev is a runner-up. The rating of the Ukrainian esports athlete increased by 13%, from 0.99 to 1.11. Third place went to OG's Nils "k1to" Gruhne. The German’s performance increased from 0.94 to 1.04, that is, by 11%.

Previously, HLTV.org named the record holders among esports athletes by the number of LAN maps played in the history of CS:GO. FaZe's IGL Finn "karrigan" Andersen headed the list with 1,196 maps played.
