"We would show a much better NAVI". Aleksib shares his expectations from competing at EPL

NAVI's IGL Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen talked in an interview with the club's press service about the team's preparation for ESL Pro League Season 18. Finnish in-game leader believes that a two-week bootcamp will benefit his roster and allow them to show better performance compared to previous tournaments.

I think it's been a bit over a week now since we arrived here in Berlin, and we've been grinding CS. Had one off day, we went to a restaurant, everybody did their own stuff, and now back grinding again. And yeah, we have a week left, and then we travel to Malta for Pro League. The schedule has been pretty tough, but at the same time, I feel like it's been fine. I think now that we have a two-week bootcamp, we can fix a lot of things and go to the stuff that is going to make us better, I feel like.

Obviously, Riyadh was pretty tough because we couldn't really fix the main things, and we could just like do a couple fixes before some tough games. But then obviously, as soon as we play a really tough team like Vitality, they just abused us, and you could see it on the server. Now, we hope that after this week or these two weeks, we would show a much better NAVI or at least learn a lot of new things that we can use in the future.

Notably, the draw for ESL Pro League Season 18 placed NAVI in Group C, the matches of which will play out from September 13 to 17. The Black-and-Yellow will fight for four tickets to the playoff stage against 5yclone, Apeks, M80, FaZe, 9z, Imperial, and fnatic.
