Report: Liquid looks to sign Rainwaker

Liquid is interested in signing 500's Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov, as Dust2.us reported.

Rainwaker is a 22-year-old rifler from Bulgaria. In addition to 500, during his career he competed for teams such as FATE and SKADE, with whom he played mainly on the tier 2 scene.

Rainwaker's signing is expected to be part of a massive reshuffle of Liquid's roster, during which Team Spirit's Robert "Patsi" Isyanov will also join the roster. Earlier, Dust2.us journalists discovered that the transfer of the Russian would cost the club at least $100,000.

Also, during the search for the optimal lineup option, Liquid came to the decision to sell Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, who has helped the team to win a number of big tournaments since 2015, as well as secured the prestigious Intel Grand Slam award. At the same time, the American may keep his place in the team. The organization will make a final decision on replacements in the next 36 hours.
