TaZ retires from CS:GO
Polish esports athlete Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas has announced via his Twitter account that he retires from professional CS:GO.
Wojtas, 36, had a career of over twenty years. He accomplished success both in CS 1.6, where he won three Majors, and in CS:GO, where he competed for Virtus.pro, which were one of the best teams worldwide for several years.
TaZ's main achievement in CS:GO is the EMS One Katowice 2014 Major title. Together with his Virtus.pro teammates, he also secured first places at the big tournaments ELEAGUE Season 1 and DreamHack Masters Las Vegas 2017.
Wojtas announced his retirement shortly after it became known that the HONORIS project, where he played and one was of the founders, closed. The reason for this decision is the lack of funds for the further support of the roster.
