G2 take second place in record map win streak on LAN

G2's winning streak on LAN, which began in December last year, ended on their 21st consecutive map win, putting the European team in second place in this respect. This happened in the final match of IEM Katowice 2023 against Heroic.

G2 overtook NAVI on the list of longest unbeaten streaks. Natus Vincere, who Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen's squad tied with the day before, dropped to third place.

The record holders for the number of consecutive maps won are NIP with 87 wins. The Ninjas set such an impressive record in 2012-2013, at the initial stage of the professional scene development.
