Sprout part ways with Maze and will search for another IGL

German organization Sprout ended Mikkel "Maze" Sparvath's trial just two days after bringing him in for the IGL role, the team representatives have confirmed to HLTV.org.

It is quite obvious that the 21-year-old Dane ended up not being a good fit for Sprout, yet the specific reasons for the imminent parting with the potential captain have not been disclosed.

Standing in for the team in their upcoming matches will be coach Danny "BERRY" Krüger. At the same time, the club will continue to search for an in-game leader.

On February 7, Rasmus "Zyphon" Nordfoss was revealed to have been removed from the starting five. His duties were passed onto Ismail "refrezh" Ali, who previously held the captaincy, while the club began looking for a new player to lead the squad.

Sprout's current lineup looks as follows:

 Victor "Staehr" Staehr
 Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea
 Ismail "refrezh" Ali
 Adrian "XELLOW" Guță

 Danny "BERRY" Krüger (coach)
