Astralis confirm casle as new head coach

Astralis have announced via their official website that Peter "⁠casle⁠" Ardenskjold has been appointed as the permanent head coach of the team. Since October this year, the specialist has been in charge of the squad on a temporary basis.

Prior to working with the Astralis' main roster, Ardenskjold coached the club's academy team. His promotion took place following the benching of the previous coach of the Danes, Martin "trace" Heldt, after which the best result of the squad was a 3-4th place finish at Elisa Masters Espoo 2022.

According to Astralis Director of Sports Kasper Hvidt, in a few months of work, casle has proven to be a very skilled coach who has built the structure of the team and has earned the players' complete trust. It was these merits that prompted the appointment of the Dane to the head coach role, the director noted.

Along with casle's promotion, Astralis also announced that analyst Frederik "LOMME" Nielsen will no longer be part of the organization. The specialist has worked with the team since the end of 2021.
