Rumors: FC Flamengo looking into acquiring CS:GO roster

Brazilian football club Flamengo intends to expand its esports division by signing a CS:GO roster, Dust2 Brasil journalists have learned.

According to the source, after changing Flamengo's head of the esports direction, the club is close to entering Valve shooter's pro scene. Currently, two already well-rounded squads are being considered.

The LargadosyPelados project, which includes former Daotsu, Corinthians and B4 players, is being considered as a priority option. Negotiations are complicated by Henrique "t9rnay" Menacho and Antonio "realziN" Oliveira both having valid contracts. The two have been on B4's sidelines since September of this year.

Another team that Flamengo is interested in is the former Corinthians lineup. A few days earlier, the football club left CS:GO, with the roster's core consisting of three players and a coach continuing to play together.

The current  LargadosyPelados lineup is:

 Antonio "realziN" Oliveira
 Cristopher "ckzao" Chalus
 Daniel "danoco" Morgado
 Henrique "t9rnay" Menacho
 Patrick "detr0it" Carvalho

 Pedro "betinho" Umberto (coach)

The current  ex-Corinthians lineup is:

 Caio "zqk" Fonseca
 Felipe "delboni" Delboni
 Gustavo "SHOOWTIME" Gonçalves

 Matheus "KAOS" Nicolau (coach)
