FC Corinthians release CS:GO team

Brazilian football club Corinthians has announced via social media the termination of cooperation with its CS:GO roster. The reasons for such a decision have not been disclosed.

According to Corinthians FC's press release, they have no intentions of returning to the professional scene of Valve's shooter in the near future. At the same time, the club will not shut down its esports division completely, keeping contracts with players in Free Fire and eFootball.

Corinthians' debut in CS:GO took place at the end of July of this year with the signing of the Brazilian lineup led by the well-known Gustavo "SHOOWTiME" Gonçalves. During this time, the team was not able to achieve significant success either in the international arena or at the regional level.

After the disbandment of the roster, the players will continue to play together under the ex-Corinthians tag.

Corinthians had the following lineup:

 Caio "zqkS" Fonseca
Gustavo "SHOOWTiME" Gonçalves
 Felipe "delboNi" Delboni
Pedro "ph1" Henrique

 Matheus "KAOS" Nicolau (coach)
