Cloud9 through to IEM Rio Major 2022 playoffs; Bad News Eagles eliminate FaZe 

Cloud9 became the first team to advance to the playoffs of IEM Rio Major 2022 out of the third round of the Legends Stage. After securing two victories at the beginning of the current stage, Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov's squad beat Heroic 2:0 – 16:9 on Vertigo and Inferno.

Playing out at the same time was an elimination match, where Bad News Eagles got the better of FaZe in a three-map affair – 19:16 on Vertigo, 8:16 on Nuke and 22:20 on Mirage.

Today, November 6, the playday will wrap up with a match for a playoff spot between FURIA and BIG, as well as an elimination encounter between NIP and Sprout.
