Hotel in Malta accuses s1mple of uncleanliness in response to NAVI's star criticism

Representatives of the Salini Resort hotel, which accommodates all the participants of ESL Pro League Season 16, have responded to criticism from NAVI player Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, who had previously complained about mold and insects in his room. In an interview with Lovin Malta, hotel management spoke about the uncleanliness of the star AWPer.

According to hotel management, since August 19, s1mple has been living with a "do not disturb" sign hanging on his door knob for 21 days and did not let the staff clean the premises. Prior to Kostyliev's arrival, there was no mold nor insects in his room, the management added.

Salini Resort management clarified that before the complaints about the living conditions were made public, s1mple did not seek help to resolve the inconvenience. After the Ukrainian's posts on Twitter, the mold was removed through cleaning and painting.

In addition to all of the above, the hotel said that when the cleaners entered the room of NAVI's star, they found a lot of food leftovers there. It is also alleged that during his stay at the hotel, s1mple would often leave food in the corridors of the hotel.

Earlier, ESL FACEIT Group SVP responded to s1mple's criticism. Like the hotel administration, the representative of the tournament operator emphasized that Kostyliev did not tell anyone about the problems before he posted all the complaints on social media.
