Liquid, NIP, OG and G2 improve their positions in HLTV.org's ranking

HLTV.org's ranking of the best teams in the world saw another update, as a result of which Liquid, NIP, OG and G2 improved their positions within the top 15. The progress of these teams was the most significant change among the leaders of the presented list.

The above-mentioned teams climbed up the rankings after successful runs at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022, where, together with NAVI and FaZe, who top the board, earned spots in BLAST Premier Fall Final 2022. It is worth noting that Astralis also improved their position, although did not make it to the top 6 of the concluded event.

Cloud9, Movistar Riders, MOUZ, FURIA, BIG and ENCE, all of whom are in the top 15, have worsened their positions from last week. The drop was affected by a number of factors, including replacements in the squads, lack of playing practice or poor performance at recent tournaments.

In the second half of the ranking, the progress of Rare Atom, HEET, Eternal Fire, Complexity and fnatic stands out the most. All these teams qualified for the upcoming RMRs, while the North Americans, apart from that, won against NAVI at the concluded BLAST event.

The HLTV.org's ranking is updated weekly and primarily takes into account the results for the last two months. The team's achievements over the past year are also considered, while the number of points for past success decreases every month.
