Rumor: paiN to replace piriajr

According to unofficial reports, the Brazilian esports club paiN is set to announce another change to its Counter-Strike 2 roster soon; the club may move Guilherme "piriajr" Barbosa to the bench. Dust2 Brasil reported this, citing its own sources.

Media reports indicate that Lucas "Tatu" Santana, from the paiN academy, will fill the vacant position in the lineup. The organization has not yet made any official statements regarding this matter.

Note that earlier this month, paiN benched Vinicius "vsm" Moreira. He was replaced by Rickson "Rkzinho" Ribeiro Dias from the club's academy.

Currently, paiN holds the 45th spot in Valve's official world ranking of Counter-Strike 2 teams. The squad finished last at BLAST Open Porto 2026 and failed to qualify for PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 and IEM Beijing 2026.
