syrsoN leads in AWP kills at the top level in 2022 by a large margin

HLTV.org has named the top-tier players with the highest AWP kill percentage in the first half of 2022 on its Twitter account. The clear leader in the use of the sniper rifle is Florian "syrsoN" Rische from BIG.

The German esports athlete's share of kills made with the AWP of all frags amounted to an impressive 69.7%. Virtus.pro's AWPer Dzhami "Jame" Ali came in second with 60.9%.

The eminent Alexandr "s1mple" Kostyliev and Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, who are responsible for AWPing duties in NAVI and Vitality, respectively, were among the top three players with the lowest AWP kill percentage in 2022 sitting at 40% and 40.8%, respectively. Coming below the two only NIP's Patrick "es3tag" Hansen, who became the team's main sniper during the season.

When compiling the rating, only matches at LAN tournaments against teams from the top 20 of the world rankings were taken into account. The list included only those who played more than 25 maps at this level.
