tabseN and gob b extend contracts with BIG until 2027
BIG have officially announced a contract renewal with Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz and Fatih "gob b" Dayik. The new agreements between the in-game leader and coach are until the end of 2027.
The press release emphasizes that tabseN and gob b are iconic figures in the German CS:GO scene. In 2017, they were among the founding members of BIG and now own part of the organization's shares.
tabseN has been playing for BIG for the past five years, while gob b transitioned into the role of manager and coach in 2019 after two years of captaincy. Subsequently, Dayik temporarily changed discipline and represented BIG in Valorant, but returned to CS a few months ago.
The names of Wodarz and Dayik are associated with all the major achievements in BIG's history. In particular, four years ago they helped the team reach the grand final of the prestigious ESL One Cologne 2018. In 2020, when tabseN replaced gob b as IGL, the Germans won several online tournaments, resulting in them topping the world rankings for seven consecutive weeks.
