$250,000 LAN in Dubai announced

From June 9 to 11 of this year, the largest city of the United Arab Emirates will host Global Esports Tour 2022 Dubai, a LAN tournament with a total prize pool of $250,000, the organizers announced on social media.

The tournament will feature eight teams, which will compete in the Single Elimination best-of-three bracket. As of now, NASR is the only confirmed participant, who secured the spot after winning the regional qualifier.

The list of teams attending the upcoming LAN tournament is expected to be finalized in the near future. The seven remaining squads will be invited directly.

Global Esports Tour 2022 Dubai is part of the Global Esports Tour series that started in 2021. The announced event in the UAE will be the first event of the series this year, after which it will continue in Birmingham and Istanbul, while the prize pool of the three events combined will amount to $1 million.
