FaZe, NIP and GamerLegion advance to next stage of IEM Cologne 2025
Second playday of IEM Cologne 2025 in Germany has ended, with three teams getting eliminated from the competition, while the other three advanced to the next stage.
In the lower bracket of the Play-In stage, MIBR was defeated by HEROIC, Complexity lost to TYLOO, while B8 fell to FlyQuest. The losing squads were relegated from the tournament, while the winners advanced to the decisive losers' round.
In the upper bracket, FaZe defeated Liquid, NIP prevailed over 3DMAX, while GamerLegion bested Virtus.pro. The winners qualified to for group stage of the event, while the losers dropped to the lower bracket of Play-In.
Note that the eight strongest rosters of Play-In will eventually advance to the group stage, where they will be joined by eight more invitees. Detailed information about the event can be found in our article.
