"We had two weeks of intense practices". Interview with Team Spirit coach

Team Spirit's coach Sergey "hally" Shavaev in an interview to the club's YouTube channel opened about the preparations of his team for the Europe RMR B tournament, which will be held from April 21 to 24 in Bucharest. In particular, the coach assured that the roster has strengthened its map pool, which is yet to be tested in official matches.

We had two weeks of intense practices. We worked on the map pool, only there is one big "but" – we have not had official matches for a month, so we could not put to the test some things we prepared at praccs. People play praccs to prepare certain things, etc., so you can't really be sure of what you are doing. You need official matches for that, so the match tomorrow will tell.

Team Spirit will start their run at Europe RMR B, which will secure half of the 16 participants a ticket to PGL Major Antwerp 2022, with a match against ENCE. Shavaev expects an interesting match against the team that finished second at the ESL Pro League a week and a half ago.

It's interesting to play the first match right away with such an opponent. ENCE performed really well at the ESL Pro League Season 15, which took place just a few weeks ago. I can say that the team is very structured, so it will be interesting to play against them. We are looking forward to this match.

I think ENCE are expecting Nuke from us, since we have had success on this map in the last meetings against OG and Movistar Riders, but I highly doubt there will be Nuke. There will be another map.

At the same time, hally outlined the favorites of the regional tournament. In his opinion, these are G2, Players and ENCE, while the rest of the participants are able to compete with each other on equal terms for the rest of the places in the top 8.
