Sprout to start Europe RMR B with coach as stand-in

The German organization has announced that 17-year-old Victor "Staehr" Staehr has gotten ill and therefore will not be able to take part in the team's first matches at Europe RMR B. The young German will be temporarily replaced by 32-year-old coach Danny "BERRY" Krüger.

The club’s representatives did not open up about the Staehr’s illness, also keeping an approximate date of his return to the squad unknown.

Europe RMR B will be playing out from April 21 to 24 with sixteen teams taking part. Sprout will kick off their run in a match against Copenhagen Flames, followed by another best-of-one on the first matchday.

According to the RMR tournament’s rules, in order to qualify for PGL Major Antwerp 2022, a team needs to win three matches. In turn, three defeats deprive a roster of the opportunity to show up at the upcoming Major.

In the first matches at Europe RMR B,  Sprout will compete with the following lineup:

Timo "Spiidi" Richter
Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich
Rasmus "raalz" Steensborg
Max "Marix" Kugener
Danny "BERRY" Krüger
