Heroic confirm Xizt as permanent coach

Heroic have officially announced Richard "Xizt" Landström as a permanent coach of the CS:GO roster. The Swedish specialist signed a full-fledged contract five months after first working with the team.

Landström joined Heroic at the end of October 2021. Initially, he was working as an analyst, later taking over as the team's coach amid the absense of an alternative specialist to fulfill the role. With the Dane on board, the squad took part in five tier-1 tournaments, four of which ending up in the top 4.

In addition to announcing the coach, Heroic have also fully completed the coaching staff. Analyst Thomas "haste" Dyrensborg, manager and physiotherapist Kasper Straube, and psychologist Troels Robl will be working in the team alongside Xizt.

Heroic's press release was published the day before the team's debut in the ESL Pro League Season 15 group stage. Casper "cadiaN" Møller's squad will compete in Group C, where they will fight for three spots in the playoffs against Complexity, Astralis, Evil Geniuses, AGO and NAVI. On March 30 at 17:00 MSK, the team will kick the things off in a match against Complexity.
