SAW introduced Academy lineup
Portuguese multigaming SAW introduced their CS:GO Academy squad. It includes inexperienced players between 18 and 20 years old.
The 28-year-old specialist Rui "VTS" Soares was invited as the head coach of the roster, which will play under the SAW Youngsters tag. The Portuguese has previously worked with European teams eXploit and GameAgents.
Rui "VTS" Soares, reveals: "First of all, I would like to thank SAW for the opportunity, it is a huge step in my career and it is a pride and a great opportunity to work with the professionals that are behind a whole team full of success. As for our team, I see a team with young people, with a lot of potential, and that with the structure of SAW has here the opportunity to become top players, and that's what we are working for!"
Team manager Bruno "Marinhas" Marineiro said in a comment on the official announcement that the project is aimed at developing young players who will have the same opportunities as the main SAW squad.
