Rejin: "MAD Lions will not leave CS:GO"

Allan "Rejin" Petersen, senior manager of MAD Lions, in an interview to dust2.dk that the organization does not intend to close its CS: GO department. According to him, the absence of official matches for three months, which caused the community to doubt the future of the project, is due to a management error.

I just joined in February (as Senior Manager, ed.) And there have been many things that needed to be taken care of. One of them was tournaments. It has been a communication error that has meant that we have not played in any tournaments. It is a management error that will not happen again. Happened has happened and we look forward and not backward.
I am employed as a Senior Manager, which actually means that I am in charge of the general management of the CS: GO department at MAD Lions. This means that I am responsible for the strategy that we will follow in the future. We are going to change the way a CS: GO team is traditionally built. Many things are going to happen and you will see a lot from us in the coming weeks. Unfortunately, I can not unveil yet, but one thing is for sure: MAD Lions is NOT done with CS: GO!

After the most recent transfer of two players to Heroic Fredrik "roeJ" Jorgensen, Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen and Thomas "TMB" Bundsback remained in MAD Lions. At the moment, the team has no scheduled tournaments. That being said, the organization owns a slot in the Flashpoint franchise league, which has yet to announce the third season date.
