FURIA invited sixth player to their bootcamp
FURIA Academy captain Leonardo "zmb" Toledo will join the main line-up of the Brazilian organization at the boot camp in the Serbian capital Belgrade. The 21-year-old player will practice with more experienced teammates until the end of the training camp in Europe.
Despite the fact that FURIA is interested in the sixth player for the main team, currently zmb is not considered as a candidate, Andre Akkari stated, who is positioned as one of the main investors in the organization. According to him, the purpose of inviting the leader of the academy is to gain new experience, after which he will return to Brazil.
Two months earlier the intention to expand to six players has been announced by FURIA coach Nicolas "guerri" Nogueira. Brazilian specialist assured that this will happen before the end of this year.
Among the latest FURIA achievements are victories at regional tournaments DreamHack Open Summer 2020, ESL Pro League S12, and IEM New York 2020. The recent BLAST Premier Fall Series 2020, which was the team's first international test of the year, ended unsuccessfully in 10th-12th place.
