Gen.G sign Cloud9 trio
Gen.G announced they're signing Timothy "autimatic" Ta, Damien "daps" Steele and Kenneth "koosta" Suen, who previously represented Cloud9. The last two players to make their debut in CS:GO roster of Korean multi-gaming will be presented later.

The Gen.G team will be coached by Chris "Elmapuddy" Tebbit, who has been an assistant coach at Cloud9 since September.

At the same time, the list of Cloud9 was reduced to the current player Oscar "mixwell" Canellas, coach James "JamezIRL" Macaulay, as well as Taison "TenZ" Ngo, who was sent to the reserve in October. In early December, the CEO of the U.S. organization Jack Etienne said that they remain at CS:GO and will announce their plans "when ready.
