ECS S8 Finals will be hosted on the latest game version
FACEIT Director of Esports Roald Van Buren announced that the eighth season Esports Championship Series LAN-final will be played at the latest patch, the release of which changed the cost of weapons SG553, FAMAS and Galil, and standard models of players. He stressed that the decision was made after consultations with the Association of Professional Players in Counter-Strike (CSPPA) and the participants of the upcoming tournament.
After consulting with the @CSPPAgg & teams, we will be playing the @ecs Season 8 Finals on the latest CS:GO patch, however we will be using the default character models due to concerns about the visibility of the new models.
