24-year-old Russian esports athlete Aleksandr "shalfey" Marenov has parted ways with 9 Pandas and become a free agent. He announced this via his Telegram channel, adding that he is searching for a new team.

From today, I am a free agent and open to offers to continue my career in any regions.

I am primarily looking for opportunities as an IGL, but I’m also open to other options.

Notably, Marenov played for 9 Pandas from June 2024 to April 2025, after which he was benched along with the rest of the squad. Since then, Shalfey has played in various mixes.
