Aurora benches soulfly

Esports organization Aurora announced the benching of Caner "soulfly" Kesici. The official statement was published on X.

The 22-year-old Turkish esports athlete has been competing for Aurora since December of last year. Kesici's average rating over the past three months is 1.02 (in 34 maps).

Earlier, rumors surfaced on the web that ex-Falcons IGL Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski could join Aurora. Ashley "ash" Battye could also take over as the team's new coach.

Aurora is currently 8th among the world's top Counter-Strike 2 teams according to Valve. The team placed 3rd-4th at IEM Cologne Major 2026. The organization also previously benched coach Sezgin "Fabre" Kalayci and IGL Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli.
