New series of 17 tier 2 LAN tournaments for CS2 revealed

New series of LAN tournaments for Counter-Strike 2, called Parken Challenger Championship, has been announced. It will feature 16 tier 2 events and culminate in a LAN final at the stadium.

The total prize pool for the entire series will amount to €185,000. €10,000 will be awarded at each LAN competition and €25,000 at the LAN final. The event kicks off in February.

Each of the 16 Challenger Championship tournaments will be held at the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers, featuring 16 teams in a double-elimination format. The winners of each Challenger Championship will advance to the LAN finals, which will play out at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen. They will be joined by eight more squads from the open qualifiers.

It's worth noting that one team (Tricked) will not be able to participate in the new series due to a conflict of interest.
