FaZe forfeit their match against G2 at ESL Pro League Season 22

FaZe forfeited their match against G2 in the second stage of ESL Pro League Season 22, which was scheduled to take place today, October 4.

The reason for this decision is that, after replacing Håvard "rain" Nygaard with Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, the team arrived at the tournament with only two players from the roster that initially received an invite to the event (at that time, FaZe featured s1mple, karrigan, rain, EliGE, and frozen).

According to ESL regulations, a team must retain at least three players on its roster to compete at the tournament. Neither the ESL Pro League Season 22 organizers nor the squad itself have yet commented on the situation.

Notably, ESL Pro League Season 22 runs from September 27 to October 12 in Stockholm, Sweden. The competition's prize pool is $400,000, divided among 24 rosters. Detailed information about the competition can be found via the link.
