CCT bans three teams for cheating

Organizer of the CCT Counter-Strike 2 tournament series announced bans for THE, KHAN, and Y5 after the anti-cheat software Akros discovered evidence of cheating in two players from each team.

According to the official statement, cheating was detected in Dastan "dosikk" Mauessov (KHAN), Daniil "tEO" Prok (KHAN), Mark "d0RREN" Karachevtsev (THE), Idris "1Drezz" Beksultanov (THE), Nurmukhammed "singulier" Mugal (Y5), and Zhanibek "R3LiFwOw" Kuatov (Y5). All received two-year bans from CCT.

Additionally, CCT issued a two-year ban to Raiymbek "dune" Dusenov after it was discovered that he had used the account of 1Drezz, one of the players banned for cheating.

The investigation also found that 1Drezz's camera during the CCT Season 3 Europe Series 8 match between THE and 1win did not match his own. The remaining players, KHAN, THE, and Y5, received six-month bans. CCT has not yet released their names.
