TaZ departs G2

39-year-old Polish esports athlete Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas is no longer the coach of G2's Counter-Strike 2 team. The organization officially announced this via its X social media account.

Wojtas has been working with G2 since December 2023. His place in the team will be taken by Eetu "sAw" Sahi, who recently parted ways with HEROIC. "What's next for me? The last 18 months have helped me grow as a coach and as a person. I would gladly stay in this world, but who knows what story life will write next", the Pole on his page on the X social media.

Note that yesterday Olek "⁠hades⁠" Miskiewicz also announced the departure from the European club G2 – his loan deal expired. His place in the team will be taken by Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia.

G2 placed 9th-11th at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 in Counter-Strike 2. The squad currently occupies tenth in Valve's world ranking.
