YEKINDAR joins FURIA

25-year-old Latvian esports athlete Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis has joined FURIA's Counter-Strike 2 roster as a stand-in. The Brazilian club officially announced this via its X social media account.

Gaļinskis replaced Felipe "skullz" Medeiros, who was benched by the organization today. Medeiros has represented FURIA since July of last year. Gaļinskis, in turn, has been on Liquid's bench since December 2024.

FURIA's updated roster will debut at the upcoming PGL Astana 2025 tournament in Kazakhstan, which kicks off on May 10.

Note that a few days ago FURIA also bought 20-year-old Kazakh esports athlete Danil "molodoy" Golubenko from AMKAL – he replaced Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes. At the moment, the team occupies 18th place in Valve's world ranking.

 FURIA are now:

 Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato
 Yuri "yuurih" Santos
 Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo
 Danil "molodoy" Golubenko
 Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis (stand-in)

 Sid "sidde" Macedo (coach)
