FURIA signs molodoy
Brazilian esports club FURIA has completed its Counter-Strike 2 roster: Danil "molodoy" Golubenko has become a new member of the team. The official announcement was published on the organization's X social media account.
The 20-year-old Kazakhstani esports athlete replaced Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes, whom FURIA benched yesterday – he represented the club since July 2023.
Molodoy has been competing for AMKAL for the past four months, while before that he was part of DMS and ALLINNERS. During his entire career as a Counter-Strike pro, which kicked off in 2020, he has earned $2,500 in prize money. Golubenko's average rating over the past three months is 1.26 (in 67 maps). Under the FURIA tag, Danil will debut next month at PGL Astana 2025.
Note that FURIA placed 13th-16th at BLAST Open Lisbon 2025, 12th-14th at ESL Pro League Season 21, 13th-16th at IEM Katowice 2025 and 9th-16th at BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 1. The squad currently occupies 17th place in Valve's world ranking.
