Official: fnatic to compete in Major qualifiers without KRIMZ

British esports club fnatic has announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: renowned Swedish esports player Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson will not participate in the qualifiers for the upcoming Austin Major for "personal reasons". Instead, Dane Johannes "b0RUP" Borup, who previously competed for WildLotus and before that spent six months in Mission Possible, will compete for fnatic in MRQ.

"Over the coming months, we will continue to evaluate Krimz's long-term future within Fnatic CS2, and will keep you all up-to-date as our plans develop further", starts the official announcement published on the organization's X social media account.

Johansson has been representing fnatic for over 11 years in total. KRIMZ has played over two thousand maps for the team. Over the course of his career as a Counter-Strike pro player, which kicked off in 2013, Freddie has earned over a million dollars in prize money.

Note that last month, the British club announced a change in its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The organization benched Denys "Burmylov" Buraga. The vacant position in the squad went to Dmytro "jambo" Semera.

 fnatic are now:

 Matúš "MATYS" Šimko
 Benjamin "blameF" Bremer
 Rodion "fear" Smyk
 Dmytro "jambo" Semera
 Dane Johannes "b0RUP" Borup (stand-in)
