Official: paiN replaces piriajr

Brazilian esports organization paiN has officially announced that Guilherme "piriajr" Barbosa has been moved to the bench. The statement was made on X.

The 23-year-old Brazilian athlete had been competing with the squad since January of this year. piriajr’s average rating over the last three months stands at 0.98 (across 41 maps). Lucas "Tatu" Santana, from the paiN academy, has filled his spot on the roster for the remainder of the year.

Note that earlier this month, paiN benched Vinicius "vsm" Moreira. He was replaced by Rickson "Rkzinho" Ribeiro Dias from the club's academy.

Currently, paiN holds the 45th spot in Valve's official world ranking of Counter-Strike 2 teams. The squad finished last at BLAST Open Porto 2026 and failed to qualify for PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 and IEM Beijing 2026.
