RED Canids rounds out CS2 roster
21-year-old Brazilian esports athlete Marcelo "nyezin" Ramos has officially become the fifth member of the RED Canids Counter-Strike 2 roster. Ramos joined RED Canids on a loan deal from paiN's youth squad. nyezin's previous team was Case.
In addition, coach Pedro "betinho" Umberto, who held a similar position at Case from July 2023 to December 2024, has returned to the team. betinho coached RED Canids in the first half of 2023.
Finally, the organization announced the signing of Henrique "HEN1" Teles, who has been competing for RED Canids for the past six months on loan deal from Imperial.
Note that two players departed RED Canids' starting five after the team's poor performance in the 2024 Perfect World Shanghai Major qualifiers. The esports athletes in question are David "dav1deuS" Tapia Maldonado and Gabriel "nython" Lino. The former recently moved to paiN, while the latter is still on RED Canids' bench. In November 2024, the squad also bid farewell to coach Raynan "farao" Carvalho.
Yesterday, João "felps" Vasconcellos became the newest member of the RED Canids Counter-Strike 2 roster; he previously represented Imperial. RED Canids currently occupies 34th place in HLTV ranking.
