Valve by mistake gives sticker to wrong MIBR player
Counter-Strike 2 developers mistakenly added a sticker of Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves, who joined MIBR in September of this year, to the game.
According to Valve's rules, the sticker should have been given to Breno "brnz4n" Poletto, who was originally registered for MIBR and whose place in the team was taken by Lucaozy, despite the fact that Poletto did not play a single game in RMR and, accordingly, will not participate in the Major.
Thus, in the next update, Valve will remove Lucaozy's sticker from the game and add brnz4n's sticker. This was reported to the HLTV editors by the tournament operator Perfect World.
Similarly, Andreas "aNdu" Maasing, Aurélien "afro" Drapier, and Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy received stickers in CS2, although Sebastian "Tauson" Tauson Lindelof (GamerLegion), Tim "nawwk" Jonsson (fnatic), and Timofey "interz" Yakushin (Cloud9), respectively, will be competing in the upcoming Major instead.
Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 will be held from November 30 to December 15 in Shanghai, China. The total prize pool of the competition will amount $1.25 million, which will be divided among 24 rosters. The full list of the event participants can be found in our article.
